In between elections, The City reviews the boundaries that separate the wards. Wards need to maintain equitable population representation by Councillors across the city.

Why is engaging in this review important?

The City has reviewed population counts in all the wards and recommended that adjustments be made to better balance the population counts in each ward. The eastern neighbourhoods of the Beltline are affected by the proposed adjustments. Have a say in the ward boundary changes by heading to Cold Garden on Saturday, March 7.

The new ward boundaries will come into effect for the 2021 General Election.
